Ashé Clarke
Undergraduate Scholar

Ashé Clarke is an Undergraduate Scholar and senior marketing management major from Hampton, Virginia. Last month, she had the amazing opportunity to be a student panelist for the Virginia Tech Advising Network’s advising chat on Understanding Intersectionality with Dr. Tonisha Lane. As a panelist, Ashé was able to speak to multiple advisors from different colleges across campus and share her experiences as a black female student at a predominantly white institution. Not only did she learn more about how intersectionality directly affects students, but also got the chance to share advice with advisors from a student perspective. At Virginia Tech, Ashé currently serves as the vice president of Student African American Sisterhood. She is also a Yates Scholar, a Marketing Intern at ALKU, and involved with HerCampus at VT.
