Shamya Rowe

Shamya Rowe is an Undergraduate Scholar and senior business management major from Richmond, Virginia. She is currently interning with the Virginia Tech Human Resources Department as a Human Resources Intern working in the Employee Relations Department. Shamya also had the opportunity to serve on SVPCBO Enterprise Diversity Engagement Panel on September 16th to talk about the unforeseen challenges of first-generation college students. Shamya is very involved on campus as a Yates Scholar, an event coordinator for BOC, and a First-Generation Student Support Mentor.
