Nathanyal Carter

Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) Scholar

Nathanyal Carter is a Louis Stokes Alliances for Minority Participation (LSAMP) scholar and a senior Electrical Engineering major from Richmond, Virginia. He has presented his undergraduate research at several conferences this semester, including the Black Male Excellence Network, the VA-NC Alliance Undergraduate Research Symposium, and the Virginia State University Symposium. Nathanyal is involved in many extracurricular activities, like the Virginia Tech Chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) and the Center for the Enhancement of Engineering Diversity (CEED) mentoring program. He has secured an internship with Dominion Energy this summer. After graduation, he plans on applying to graduate school.
