MAOP Undergraduate Scholarship (UGS) Program

The MAOP Undergraduate Scholars Program supports high-achieving Virginia residents with scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $2,000. Beyond financial assistance, the program provides personalized support through one-on-one meetings each semester, helping students navigate the transition from high school to college—and later from college to graduate school or professional careers.

UGS scholars also benefit from exclusive workshops, events, and networking opportunities designed to foster academic success and personal growth.

Eligibility

• You must be a Virginia resident
• For current VT students, you must have cumulative GPA of a 2.5 or higher
• You must have unmet financial need. A completed FAFSA will determine your financial eligibility for the MAOP UGS Scholarship
