Keya Thakur

Keya Thakur participated in the first year of the Hokie Summer Scholar Program, where she assisted Dr. Isabel Prochner with research for an upcoming book on human factors in industrial design. This summer, she returns to the program as a Peer Mentor, eager to support and guide the next cohort of undergraduate scholars. Keya is a rising junior majoring in Architecture, with a strong interest in design research. She also serves on the editorial team of Studio Collective, Virginia Tech’s official design journal, where she contributes to writing stories about design in the Appalachian region.
