Hey there! I’m Varun, and I’m passionate about making the research journey a lot less overwhelming and a lot more collaborative for students. My academic and research background is rooted in quantitative finance, mathematics, and software engineering, which means I spend a lot of my time thinking about data, machine learning architectures, and algorithmic problem-solving. But I'm definitely not all about code—in my free time, I love staying active by running, hiking, and playing golf, or sitting down for a strategic game of poker. I focus on helping peers build their technical confidence, design project workflows, and navigate their own paths through academic discovery.
