Jardine Allen

Graduate Assistant

Jardine is a second-year master's student in Aerospace Engineering with a focus in astrodynamics. She received her B.S. in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Michigan. For her research, she is designing and analyzing optimal constellations of CubeSats with in-situ debris detection sensors; the overall goal is to determine effective methods to detect small space debris in Low Earth Orbit. She has previous experience in mentoring students through MAOP, Black Students in Aerospace at the University of Michigan, and the Zed Factor Fellowship, and really enjoys it! In her free time, Jardine enjoys playing piano, writing spoken word, learning Dutch and Mandarin and trying out new restaurants.
